What Video Outpainting collects, why, who it is shared with (payment, storage and AI providers) and how to ask about your data.

Who we are
Video Outpainting is operated by Cicadas. This notice explains what data is involved when you create an account, generate a video, pay and download results.
What we collect
- Account information. Your name and email address, and a password hash if you sign up with email.
- Your content. Prompts, images or source videos you upload, your generation settings and the videos produced.
- Service records. Job identifiers and status, credit transactions, orders and error information, used to deliver results and resolve problems. Each job and order also records which of our sites it was made on.
- Device information. Browser type, device type and IP address, used for security, rate limiting and compatibility.
- Browser storage. The generator keeps an unsent prompt and its settings in this browser's session storage so they survive signing in. A session cookie keeps you signed in.
- Payment information. Handled by our payment processor. We receive the result of the payment and limited billing details; we never see or store full card numbers.
Uploads and AI requests
When you generate, the model provider receives the prompt, the image or source video you uploaded if any, and the settings for that request, through fal.ai. fal's own privacy information applies to that processing. Finished videos are copied to our private storage and can only be opened by your signed-in account.
Source videos are uploaded to fal’s staging storage after sign-in and before processing. They use unlisted URLs with a requested seven-day expiration; anyone with that URL may be able to access the staged source until it expires. An account-bound upload token expires after one hour. Do not upload sensitive footage. Your browser temporarily keeps the source URL and token with the task draft in session storage. Switching accounts discards access to the prior account’s upload in the workspace.
On sites that link to a shared processing service, accounts, uploads, Stripe checkout, balances and result history are handled at the named service. The page identifies that destination before you leave.
How we use your information
- To provide the service: run generations, store results, show your history and balance.
- To process payments and send receipts and account emails.
- To answer support requests.
- To detect and prevent fraud and abuse.
We do not use your prompts, uploads or results to train models.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only:
- with the hosting, database, storage, email, payment and AI providers needed to run the features you use;
- when the law requires it;
- to protect our rights, our users or the public.
Security
Account authentication and ownership checks limit who can open private media. No system removes all risk: keep your password private and do not upload material you would not want processed.
Your choices and rights
Your rights depend on where you live. You can update your profile in your account. To ask for a copy of your data or for deletion of your account, email us; we answer within 30 days.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version.
